The bench is well made and sturdy. I gave it a 4 because I’m a little disappointed with the color. It’s supposed to be barnwood but it’s all black. I absolutely love this bed! The quality is excellent and definitely worth the price. When the box arrived, I thought it might be smaller than expected, but it exceeded my expectations in every way. Assembly was very easy, and it even comes with a helpful instructional video. Just make sure to follow the directions carefully and pay close attention to the labels on each piece!! My only complaint is the screws. They seem to be made of lower-quality material and can strip or get damaged easily if you’re not careful. Taking your time during assembly helps prevent any issues.. Love the look of this bed. Took a chance bc there were no reviews. The bed delivered in about 5 days. The packing wasn’t the best, but everything was intact and undamaged inside the box. Quality is fair, not exceptional. Upholstery is only on the outside of the bed, not behind the headboard, footboard or rails. Bed is assembled with bolts that are visible on the footboard which I don’t like. The fabric is linen and on the lighter side, not yellowish or grey. Hammered features are a nice contrast to the conventional upholstered bed design. Bed can be mixed with contemporary furniture or antiquish, like I have. All in all, I’d recommend.
