I love these book cases. I live in an older house with kind of odd dimensions., and the dynamic design flows nicely and adds a modern appeal. These shelves is a great update to my space and really has brighten the whole room up and turned into a very nice display. They are manufactured wood, but a lot more sturdy feeling than some of the other manufactured products that l've purchased.., I am not very tall and they weren't too heavy for me to get around, but they feel solid, which is surprising for the design. The sturdiness of this piece of furniture is very good. I didn’t expect it to be so durable. It looks lovely in the space. One of pieces did chip on the edge right out of the box but because it’s a corner piece I was able to hide it easily.
