The bed arrived extremely fast and everything came nicely packaged. I opted to put the whole thing together myself. It’s not too difficult but a bit tedious. I think i spent at least two hours putting it together but for those who prefer they can just pay the extra for the assembly. The bed itself is very nice and sturdy. Daughter loves her bed! It seems pretty sturdy. The negatives for me are the side opposite of the desk is unfinished, it just has black backing on the side so it limits where the bed can be placed from an aesthetic perspective it basically has to be in a corner if you don’t want to see the black backing side. Good value! Stable, quiet, padded well enough. The fabric could be softer. Picked this over others because there is no gap where the mattress would meet the headboard. Low enough to the ground that a kid can easily get in and hasn’t yet worried about things under the bed at night! And it’s nice that the padded fabric goes all the way down the headboard so no matter what height mattress you have, it looks good from the front and the mattress and pillows stay in place. The listing says “beige” but it is definitely white, which worked out for the room. The back of the headboard is simple black fabric. Easy enough to build with well-labeled pieces and instructions. Took one person 1 hour and 15 minutes to build. No extra tools necessary. Slight cardboard/warehouse smell for a day but resolved easily with a fan and open windows.
