Everything is good enough. It is very sturdy. There were a couple of really annoying instructions-related mistakes I made that are obvious once you get far enough in the assembly process but not obvious when you're just following the instructions. There is a velcro thing that's not on the right side of something, and there is no way the something should be flipped because it's bolted in a specific way. Not super consequential. The biggest issue, and the reason I almost returned, is a huge gap between the headboard shelves and the top of the mattress. Like a kid's head sized gap. My kid moves all around in her sleep, and clearly a lot of kids do, hence the railing-- and it's not out of the realm of possibility that she'll get her head into this gap, so I have to stuff pillows in there to secure it. The LED light cords are also right behind the gap (not in pic bc they weren't hooked up yet) which isn't ideal. Silly design flaw here, imo. There should just be something that closes this gap.. Overall this bed is worth the money you pay for it . It’s that sheepy material which I wasn’t aware of (my mistake I didn’t read just assumed from the photos), it’s soft but not sure how it will withstand against stains with my 2 boys. I got color grey I would say it’s more greige like a warm beige grey then typical grey color. Instructions are more or less clear, except the clips for the drawers it took me so long , thank god for my husband who got it and finished it. You have an option on how high you want the headboard to be , i wasn’t aware of that .
