Love the look of this bed. Took a chance bc there were no reviews. The bed delivered in about 5 days. The packing wasn’t the best, but everything was intact and undamaged inside the box. Quality is fair, not exceptional. Upholstery is only on the outside of the bed, not behind the headboard, footboard or rails. Bed is assembled with bolts that are visible on the footboard which I don’t like. The fabric is linen and on the lighter side, not yellowish or grey. Hammered features are a nice contrast to the conventional upholstered bed design. Bed can be mixed with contemporary furniture or antiquish, like I have. All in all, I’d recommend. First time online bed buyer and super happy with my purchase! In the midst of a bedroom remodel. Got king size in natural, arrived next day, no damage, had all parts, didn't take too long for two people to put together - appx 30 min; however, I think the spacers weren't the correct size because we ended up with two slats that weren't accounted for at the end, but we just respaced slightly and it was fine. I really appreciated the velcro for the slats so they don't move around when spacing - someone thought that through! You will also need a drill to screw in the slats. Headboard and footboard are not completely solid, but sturdy and the height is good for us. Also, purchased the Stearns and Foster Lux Estate Mattress and it fit perfectly. Josh & Main king bed. I don't trust this company. The bed was deliverd damaged. The box had no damage. I have heard from friends who have the bed that their beds came damaged in the same place on the headboard. It is obviously the way it is packaged. I ordered a new replacement headboard hoping it wouldn't come in damaged and a few days later, they canceled the order and said it is on back order. Who knows how long that will take and I don't trust them to make this right. I called and they gave me all kinds of awful options: They would send me return instructions meaning I had to take down the bed, box it up, and return it myself which is ridiculous and I said no; to keep the bed and they would give me a partial refund and I said no. I finally was very upset and demanded they come get the bed for free and refund my order. They said that they would put in that order which means that had been an option the whole time and I had to argue to get to that offer. I had paid for delivery, set up and the 3 year warranty on the bed. I will never order from Josh & Main and I am very skepticle about ordering from Wayfair as they told me I had to deal with the manufacturer on this broken bed and it ended up taking two weeks with many emails to finally get back to Wayfair who then helped me and made it difficult. We needed a replacement specifically to accommodate a new adjustable base, since our old bed wasn’t compatible. We absolutely loved our previous bed and hoped to find something that wouldn’t completely compromise on style, as so many adjustable base-friendly designs tend to look cookie cutter and uninspired. We took a leap of faith ordering this bed, not fully sure it would work, but it turned out to be a good match with our existing side tables and dresser. The metal isn’t super thick, but it is sturdy enough and the price point reflects this. Assembly was easy, two of us put it together without any trouble, thanks to straightforward instructions.
