This bed is very well built and made from solid wood. It feels sturdy, durable, and secure, which is exactly what I was looking for. An additional 6 to 10 inches in height would make it even more attractive and provide better support when sitting up in bed. This is a good-looking and solid piece of furniture. As some other reviewers have noted, there were some manufacturing issues which made assembly challenging. Holes for the foot-end support bracket were not at the right height (or the "up" sticker was incorrect), holes drilled in the middle support did not align with the bracket, and some support slats were wider than the frame and needed to be cut down. The color is as is shown on the website I think the price could be cheaper I wouldn’t say it’s worth the price that they have it priced at maybe should be listed as 300-400 max since it’s not real wood.
