Love that this is solid wood and unfinished. The bookcase will go in my kitchen and I’m going to paint it to match my upper cabinets. We really liked the look of this tall rattan cabinet right away. It has a nice aesthetic and fits well with our space, and overall it wasn’t too difficult to put together compared to some other furniture we’ve assembled. The biggest challenge during assembly was getting the doors properly aligned. That part took the most time and patience, but once adjusted, it looked good and functioned as expected. The main downside for us is the drawer design. They don’t pull out very far, which makes them less practical than we hoped. Reaching items toward the back is a bit of a pain and ends up being the most frustrating part of using it day to day. Nice cabinet that feels a little smaller than expected. It includes white wooden knobs that I switched out with others to coordinate with another furniture piece. For reference, in my photo, the baskets are 16” D x 9” W x 6” H as positioned, to give an idea of what would fit on a shelf.
