Third one of these that I have purchased. I found them easy to assemble, and they have a sturdy structure - love that they are solid wood (except for the backing). Have stained all with Minwax wood finish oil-based ‘Colonial Maple’ Semi-transparent interior stain. They look great ! Though the boxes had encountered some bumps and bruises, the contents within each of my shipments remained safe from harm - I would attribute that to the solid packaging. The wardrobe is beautiful and all real wood. However, I am not rating it higher for a few reasons. First, after assembling, we noticed there is a significant piece missing from the right-side top panel. See the picture. Additionally, two of the wooden pegs on the same side are showing through, one fully, and one is partially coming through the panel, see picture. Lastly, the instructions are just terrible and makes assembly more difficult and taken much longer than necessary. Not sure why these manufacturers cannot include actual descriptions, hints and suggestions versus just pictures. This would have made assembly much easier. Took me 4 hours of focused work, and that was not including unpacking and staging. - Two parts (15 and 16) had their label markers inverted, which was actually a fairly big problem and cost me 20 minutes. Very easy to put together! My husband and I assembled it in about two hours after spending a half hour organizing all the parts. I highly recommend watching the assembly video on the Grain Wood Furniture website—the video is for the two-door armoire, but it’s very similar and helpful. We’ve assembled quite a few pieces of furniture, and this one is exceptionally well made. We did make one mistake by using the wrong screw, so be sure to pay close attention to the directions.
