BUY IT! I was so concerned about buying an appliance which would be delivered by who knows who. I didn't want to spend the $2,000+ the local stores were charging for similar items. I took the chance, so happy I did. I was beyond impressed with the packaging of the beverage fridge. It was easy to unpack even with all the layers of cardboard, wood, metal and Styrofoam. The instructions were clear and repeated so you couldn't miss them (let sit flat for at least 24 hours before plugging in) and it was easy to put the door on. We really appreciate the lack of handles sticking out and the refrigerators sleek finish. You do have to be careful not to open both drawers at the same time, or the whole unit will fall forward. Nice mini fridge that fits perfectly in space built for 25 year old U-Line I had to replace. This is my second one as the first GE compressor died after only 5 years. Cost effective to just replace the entire unit and get the extended warranty. Plenty of room, nice interior setup and glass shelves make cleaning easy. Keeps everything very cold. Only downside is it is not self defrosting. The defrosting process takes about two hours which I do about every six months.
