This is a nice sturdy desk. It does take hours to put together but the instructions are easy to follow and very accurate. I gave it only 4 stars because of the time it takes and the fact that the electrical part of the desk could have been easier to hide cords and such. Being the first review is scary. Where to start. First - the desk is beautiful and just what I wanted for the office. Good, solid material that came packaged very well and undamaged. Worthy of 5 stars. But, second - the shipping company was awful and asked me to come in at 7am because I would be the first delivery of the day. Annoying, but whatever. They didn't show up until 4pm that day. Third - the instructions are clearly from outside this country...which isn't a big deal as long as they are clear and accurate...they were neither. Mislabelled parts in the manual, one entire instruction manual for the desk wasn't included (or was never made) and then there were several steps where I realized "I should have been told to do this 5 steps ago".
