A perfect desk for building models. The lowest setting of adjustability is the same height as my other desk in the room, so I can wheel my chair in between them. This is the third Ebern Designs product I have purchased & it was the most difficult to put together. If you take your time and follow the directions, it is doable & turned out in the long run. It works for the small space in my park model that I needed it for & the wood was a close match to the 31.5 square small dining table I purchased. Great look for the price! This desk was easy to assemble and super sturdy. I love that it has two tiers, adding more space. I agree with other reviews that the drawers are cheap, but also you could see where it was spray painted on some of the pieces. Luckily they weren’t pieces that were in view. The electric standing desk is sturdy and nice. It is traditional with a sleek design look. The electric height adjustment works smoothly and quietly, making it super easy to switch between sitting and standing modes throughout the day. The built-in power outlets are nice, no more crawling under the desk. It is, however, not easy to put together. It has a lot of parts, so be prepared to dedicate time to that and it takes a couple of hours for the assembly when doing it all alone. The fact that there were no gliders for the drawers is a bit disappointing, because they just hang when pulled out. The original desk I received had some scratches on a couple of parts and the wooden dovels provided to connect the desk top were fragile and broke during the assembly. Reached out to Wayfair support with the part number needed to replace the damage and they were so understanding and supportive enough to provide a new free replacement and told me to dispose off the original desk that was no longer functional. I didn’t like seeing that through the glass so I used black stock card behind the glass doors and that did the trick. I am considering changing the knobs to something more primitive. This is a good looking table but 4 stars because the top of the table is 2 pieces and the wood design doesn’t match (see pictures). The top 2 drawers do not have the side mount drawer slides instead they glide on metal side rails and they are slightly smaller than the space, you can move them left and right but they don’t come off the metal rail.
