The dark purple is a great color - file cabinets are fine for the price point. One of the two I ordered has a sizable dent on one corner. It it was to be in a corner or not viewable from two sides, I would be ok with it. However, it is being used to support wood for a desk in a brand new church office and plain to see. This product is not exactly as sturdy as it looks. It is a 2 person job to put together but unfortunately we had to recruit a third, my daughter who was the most limber and had small hands to be able to finish putting it together. This cabinet is exactly what I have been looking for. Its not too big, but its definitely not too small, and it locks. Just wish I wasnt in so many pieces.
