It is a super cute bunk bed. Wood is good quality. Previous reviews said when the stickers are removed it takes the paint with it. So I left the ghastly warning sign on the very top rail, my oldest can read and hopefully reminds them not to hang. It would be rather tempting to hang on as a child! As a mom of boys, I’ve purchased and assembled several bunk beds over the years to know that these are my favorites to date. I was able to put the bunks together in an hour by myself without any issues. The bunk is sturdy, and I have no concerns about stability or the bed slats coming out, as they snap into place. The attached ladder doesn't take up floor space or block access to the bottom bunk. The height of the bottom bunk not only prevents anyone from bumping their head but also gives my boys a lounge space to read or watch TV. My only complaints are that I wish the upper side rails were higher since current mattresses are not thin, so our mattress sits flush with the rail. We use a pool noodle under the sheet along the rail for extra peace of mind. If your mattress is on the thinner side, you won’t have any issues. The second is that I wish the clearance underneath was just an inch or two taller, as it wouldn’t impact the bottom bunk and would allow larger totes to be stored under the bed. Well made and easy to assemble. Not the most stable bunk bed we’ve ever owned, but it is enough for an older kidteen who won’t be jumping on it. This is just as adorable in person as it is in the pictures. I think the color is spot on to what you receive as well. The instructions were fairly clear, but you know how that goes. Everything feels very sturdy and it hasn't sounded creaky or anything when laid on. I bought the Wayfair 6" memory foam mattress and it fits perfectly, giving the kids plenty of room to sit up and use the spaces for fun as well as sleeping. Such a great price too! Worth it.. Aimee.
