Originally came with broken pieces in the shipment. The company resent the defective pieces at no charge. The padded seat was worse the second time, but I’ll just reupholster it myself instead of requesting a 3rd one. It would be best if the company would figure out a new way to ship the seat so that it doesn’t get pinchedmishapen. The tiny screws were a bear to screw into the wood. Small, predrilled holes would have been a great touch. Overall, the vanity looks nice assembled and my daughter likes it, but certainly some room for improvement with shipping and ease of assembly.. Everything is good enough. It is very sturdy. There were a couple of really annoying instructions-related mistakes I made that are obvious once you get far enough in the assembly process but not obvious when you're just following the instructions. There is a velcro thing that's not on the right side of something, and there is no way the something should be flipped because it's bolted in a specific way. Not super consequential. The biggest issue, and the reason I almost returned, is a huge gap between the headboard shelves and the top of the mattress. Like a kid's head sized gap. My kid moves all around in her sleep, and clearly a lot of kids do, hence the railing-- and it's not out of the realm of possibility that she'll get her head into this gap, so I have to stuff pillows in there to secure it. The LED light cords are also right behind the gap (not in pic bc they weren't hooked up yet) which isn't ideal. Silly design flaw here, imo. There should just be something that closes this gap.. Pretty easy to build. A little disappointing that the description mentions a curtain that is not included. There was a piece at the foot of the bed where the bottom shelf and bed connect that the hole was not drilled out, you could see it was started but we had to drill it out. The windows could be sewn better because they didn’t survive my toddler, within not even 5 minutes after the bed was done being built the windows were broken.
