This looks good, not cheap particle board. However, I can't give 5 stars because it is so cheaply made. I don't think it's obvious unless you've assembled it. The metal is so thin- two pieces were warped from shipping . The wood is super lightweight pine. You can carve in it with a fingernail. There are already several scuffs on it before assembly. The instructions are poor. We had to take apart and put back together several times because key details were not included. Also, it shows the last step is installing glass doors, but that's impossible to do with the top piece on so I had to take it off to put doors on. There drawer has no rail or fittings , so it doesn't close all the way. In all it's better than mdf , but not worth the $ and I have serious doubts it will hold up long without scratches .. Milo. With the unclear instructions as well, this made the process a bit painstaking. After putting it together, it looks perfect, no issues besides the missing screws for the middle cabinet. Besides the setup issues, this stand is pretty sturdy, and has some cool LED lights! Looks beautiful all the time, and is able to support numerous home devices inside and on top. Very nice cabinet. Instructions were well written and easy to understand. The item was heavy but well packed with no damage. Our only slight disappointment was that the two doors are cut short for a fireplace so if you do not use a fireplace they give you two clear pieces of Plexiglas to attach to the doors to fill in the space.
