I love my mount it. I placed it behind my tv unit that I am building and I can connect my tv and have all the cables out of sight. My original plug was way out of the way. This product is ok. It's a little tough to work with, not very flexible and comes wrapped in a coil, like a snake. You have to let it soften up and unwind it before you can work with it. Use your hands to get it to conform to the wood planks. I used drywall screws to hold it in place. Since it was in the ceiling you can't see the screws. I don't think that glue would have worked, too much resistance. It's really expensive for what it actually is, which is a strip of rubber with knobs on it, but it does the job of hiding the seams in my wood ceiling beams and pretending to be wrought iron straps.. Before I ordered this item, I asked customer service if it would fit my pull out trash can. Their answer was "yes it will fit". Well, it was the wrong mounting kit. I had to call to return it and was charged $5 for the shipping. Then when I reordered the right kit I was charged shipping charges for the correct kit. This is not right!!!!!!!. Jerry.
