I bought this mattress once before for my son, so I knew what to expect this time. This reorder feels noticeably different from my first one: stiffer and more solid overall. After five nights of sleeping on it, I'm actually finding Firmer than expected, but a good kind of firm. It offers solid, even support without feeling overly soft or sinking in.. Maha. This daybed provides a streamlined solution for lounging by day and hosting guests by night. Its frame is made from steel and includes a system of slats that support your mattress without the need for a bulky box spring. This piece is ideal for a home office or guest room where maximizing floor space is a priority. The integrated pop-up trundle rests on smooth-rolling casters for easy movement and can be raised to create an even sleeping surface. It also features a powder-coated finish that stands up to daily use.

The bronze color is a rich matte finish brown. I am 64 yo and was able to build it by myself. It did take a while (NOT 1.5 hours for me) and as another reviewer said, pushing all those plastic pieces in was rough on the hands ! It does seem very sturdy though. Well built, not flimsy at all. Don't tighten anything at all until everything is together - leave it really loose. Had to go back and loosen at first for more flexibility in connecting. 8" mattresses coming tomorrow - $99 deal each so the whole thing will be less than $500 for my grandchildren when they visit so they no longer have to bring sleeping bags or camp out on the floor ! I'd show you after the bedding is on but I'll prob forget so here it is....for now. Wendy. Ocean, NJ. Thu Oct 15 2026

The daybed with a pop-up trundle features clean lines, attractive angles, and plenty of classic styles. Crafted from kiln-dried wood, it comes in a sleek finish that blends rustic and traditional together for a standout look we love. The pop-up easily stores under the bed and wheels out and up when needed. It can also combine with the daybed, transforming this piece from two twin beds to a king. A series of slats eliminate the need for a box spring, so all you need to get are two mattresses (sold separately).
