This shade was a great replacement for the old, yellow one that broke. It features a soft, bright matte white finish. Although it comes with a cap equipped with two holes for pull chains, only the center chain is functional because the opening is too narrow to use the fan chain—at least for my model of fan. Needed this part to flush mount new ceiling fan bought on Wayfair too. It worked out just as we had hoped. It was a bit confusing and delayed installation progress (added to frustration) when the instructions didn't tell a newby everything you needed to know to step by step install this with the new ceiling fan ... but it was the correct part listed to use with the new fan. The fan works great & the light is a cool added touch! It can get pretty bright, enough to light up the whole 14 x 20 gazebo we have it under.
