The 55” W Electric Fireplace is beautiful. It is ornate and very detailed. I have put it in my master bedroom which has no architectural elements except for 5 panel doors and medallion trim over the windows. This fireplace is a real statement piece. It has at least 22 pieces to put together but all the pieces fit perfectly and the instructions were adequate. My husband did it by himself. I ordered white and it is white. A professional built ours in about 45 minutes, which saved a lot of time and frustration. The wood quality feels a bit cheap for the price and looks somewhat flimsy when first taken out of the box. Thais entertainmentbook shelf unit came in 4 huge heavy boxes. Thank goodness my husband had help from my visiting daughter otherwise we would have never gotten them in the house. Hubby opened the first box, hoping to find directions and hardware. We finally found them in box 3. If you like hardware, you will love putting this unit together. My husband discovers all boxes have pieces that go with each aspect of the unit so we would not have room in our living room for assembly. While moving box one down the stairs leading into the garage, my husband pulled his back out. The box landed safely. My daughter and I managed to get to the kitchen. The wood is a pink color (or maybe a rose color?) With blue flames. Still very pretty and cool, but we were really looking forward to the blue with purple. We still love the TV stand. Set aside a full morning or afternoon to assemble properly. There are lots of steps and nuances to putting this cabinet together. When I read some folks took 6 hours to assemble, I thought it was because they did not have a clue how to assemble something like this. I was wrong. A very skilled person assembled ours and I would say it took about the same. But taking your time makes it look so much nicer. We got the distressed wood one, which at the time was more expensive, but the look was what I was going for. The piece looks beautiful, and I love the options of just lights, lights and heat, and already used the timer feature. Only downside we did not see the large dent (must have happened in transit) in the top edge until it was all glued and assembled!!!
