I have been coveting this hammock stand for months, while simultaneously looking for a more cost effective DIY option. The reality is, this stand is impeccable quality, made locally (to me) and ordering via Wayfair allowed me to make the cost palatable and use payment options to make my dream a reality. The stand does not rock, though you can feel the movement of others shifting in their own hammocks. Overall this is a decent product. I took a star off because of how long it took to assemble and the fact that one of the metal rods had two incorrectly shaped holes - oval instead of circular - forcing us to have to use a special metal drilling saw to correct the holes in order to make the bolts fit through.
