The clock works just as the listing says it should. It is nice and compact (2 1/2" square, as described), well-assembled (no gaps in the seams), the low-luminescence setting is good and the back is not visually distracting (as was the case with similar products). One note for potential buyers: the front, top and sides of the "black" clock are actually wood-grained charcoal grey plastic. Only the back is black. I will keep it because the clock's size, design and functionality were my priorities. Even the 'quiet' alarm is kind of loud. It's startling compared to my cellphone alarm (good for people who sleep through those?) The Weekday/ Weekend alarm is misleading- the only settings were Monday-Friday, or Every Day. I like the 'voice activate' feature though- if you completely dim the display, it shows up again at a loud enough sound. No extra light in my room at night. This clock makes a loud ticking noise even though the specs on the website said non ticking. I returned it but lost all the rewards points I used to purchase.
