Here’s a more polished version of your review that keeps your experience, but makes it clearer and more natural for other buyers ⸻ We purchased the TOTO Drake 1.6 GPF elongated two-piece toilet from TOTO through Wayfair and got a great deal. Overall, we’re very happy with the upgrade. It is noticeably easier to clean compared to lower-end toilets, and it flushes efficiently—usually just one flush is enough. It also runs much quieter, which we really appreciate. We’ve also noticed that stains don’t build up as easily in the bowl compared to cheaper models. The design is sleek and the height is more comfortable, especially for adults or taller users. We paired it with a bidet seat, which makes it even better. Shipping and packaging were excellent. Everything arrived well-protected, with no cracks or damage. It did come in multiple boxes and the pieces are quite heavy, so it helps to be organized when unpacking. Customer service from both Wayfair and the manufacturer has been responsive and helpful when we had questions. Although it costs more upfront, we feel it’s worth it in the long run. We expect it to last many years (at least a decade), and it also helps reduce water usage since one flush is usually enough. This toilet and washlet combo is exactly what I needed. Initially there was an issue with the wrong (S2) washlet being sent to me, but customer service fixed the issue S5 washlet was sent to me. Both the toilet and washlet work great! When planning to install these make sure you have a GFCI outlet installed to plug into and if possible run on its own circuit. Is it possible to be in love with a toilet? I am! I fell in love with this toilet before I even used it, reading reviews, examining its features, etc. And then my contractor installed it. From the moment it was plugged in, I knew it would be a game changer for me in the best possible way. Love the heated seat. Love *all* the bidet functions. Love the night light. Love the remote control. Love my auto open/close lid. I feel cleaner (and am) when I use it, and the toilet is designed to be a sanitizing experience. I haven't even used the deodorizer yet! I. love. this. toilet. It's a little pricey, but treat yourself. It will change going to the bathroom for you. Two bonus tips: 1) if your #2s are often messy (i.e., squishy -- sorry if TMI but you need to know this), this the answer; 2) if you're concerned about the price -- I am a super-picky person and I shopped around to discern whether I should get this toilet or a smart toilet. This is a traditional toilet with smart features, and given the reputation and stellar history of Toto that accompanies this toilet, this unit is ultra-reasonably priced. The packaging form the manufacture is not great and the first one was delivered with a shattered tank. Wayfair is great in their response to get another one sent out immediately. Ordered this in a black finish. Arrived as promised. I also ordered a seat since one was not included. I was not aware that a wax ring and mounting bolts were also not included. Although the price was less than the competitors, having to buy the other items made the price more expensive than what other companies offered. Lesson learned make a true comparison before buying..
