Tony Montana Desk

Crafted of select hardwood solids in a lightly distressed finish, this desk captures the look and feel of being away at camp. Straight lines, plank details on the sides and drawer fronts, and a thick top add a modern rustic appeal to the look of this piece. Tuck away papers and pens in the two drawers, which are adorned with dark iron bar pull hardware for a subtle nod to industrial-inspired style. We love that the distressed finish adds a lived-in look. Plus, it has a finished back, so you can add it just about anywhere.

I ordered this desk that came with white glove delivery where they carry the box to the room of your choice, assemble (if needed) and take the packaging away. The 2 delivery men carried the box to the room but refused to assemble the desk and take the packaging away, claiming they are not Wayfair and didn't have time even though they acknowledged the invoice had white glove delivery. So, I put the desk together. It basically comes in 4 parts (the top, 2 sides and lower back piece that fits into the 2 side pieces. The instructions refer to the pieces as A, B, C, and D yet the pieces are labeled random letters (R, L,...) but it's not difficult to figure out which piece goes where and it's not hard to put together IF the 2 side pieces fit but they don't so it's impossible for more than 2 screws to fit (one on each side). To compound the problem, the hole in the side of the top piece is oval and the screw is circular. The desk is unstable and unsafe, especially for a child. I've called a carpenter/handyman to come and widen the oval hole so the screw can reach the side pieces. Not happy.. New To Town. Connecticut. Mon Apr 29 2024

When you need a workspace built for everyday performance with industrial vibes, look no further than this conveniently caster-wheeled industrial rolling desk model. With a thick dark-finished wooden top and sturdy metal framing, it has the strength to last for years, no matter how busy your schedule gets. With heavy-duty swivel caster wheels, it's also easy to move from location to location, giving it plenty of design versatility for your home or office. Easy to move: Each leg of this metal and wood industrial desk features a sturdy caster wheel, enabling it to move in all directions as needed. Prefer your workspace in one spot? The back two caster wheels have lever-style brake locks to keep this work-table from moving or edging forward, even if you lean on it or get up / sit down frequently during the day. Industrial design: The metal framework of this rolling desk doesn't just add bold industrial looks, it also adds strength and longevity to the design. Built to last for years of late nights, brainstorming sessions, video calls, homework, and more, this isn't your average decorative desk: it's made to be used and enjoyed. Large work area: there's plenty of room on the surface for everything you need. Set up your computer and monitor, printer, and file box, all without sacrificing elbow room. The height is tall enough to accommodate most desk chairs and counter stools for customizing your seating arrangements. Smart accents: The slender metal bar that runs just underneath the back edge can be used to support or tether wires to avoid a messy tangle of power cords underfoot. The open-sided “X” panels on either side can also be used to guide, hold up, or even bundle-tether cords and wires too, keeping your work area tidy and tripping hazard-free.

It is fine. I got the mahgoney. The color online looked lighter but it is truer to mahogany in person. I almost didnt buy because of the complaints about assembly and quality. I had no problems. If you are experienced with assembling furniture you know what to expect. Quality is what you expect for self assembly furniture. Jennifer. Durham, NC. Sat Oct 10 2026

Great desk and deal! Needed a small light grey desk for son’s room. Price of this was 400 less than the desk matching his bed. I opted for the Angie installation, it worked great, he put together quickly and well, said it was not difficult. Drawer and cabinet operate smoothly. Color is a nice, super light grey. I included the chair as I would also call the chair wood light grey so you can see the scale of color between the two and the white of the cushion.. Sarah. Fort Myers, FL. Tue Jul 21 2026

Overall, I absolutely love this desk! It did arrive with a few minor issues that Wayfair rectified. This is a solid piece of furniture. I would definitely recommend paying for the delivery and setup. The two compartments on the top lift up to open but sadly they do not lock in place to remain open, which could be a little inconvenient but there is a slow close on it so it does not slam closed. **TIP** there is a piece that covers the top so you can possibly sit items up there that is probably some type of mdf board and it probably blends in with the packaging and mine was thrown out, so just be mindful and ask for that piece. That is the only reason for the four stars.. Taji. Nanuet, NY. Fri Jun 19 2026

Very sturdy and nice desk! I wish the drawer was a bit deeper but it will work. also didn't come with the bolt to attach the drawer knob. The top of the desk will only go back down from the tallest lifted position. took me a minute to figure it out, but I like the slow lowering mechanism for the top. Miranda. Tue Jan 27 2026

This desk is beautiful. the working surface is great, and very attractive. The desk is *extremely* sturdy (and heavy). I would recommend having its spot picked out and paying for assembly delivery.
