Nice desk. Went with grey color and like it. Very heavy box and material. Material feels like it is made from that plastic that picnic or school tables are made with. Wood grain look is nicerealistic. I don’t think it will scratch easily. Because there are two configuration options it is quite confusing, mainly the drawer part, but holes lined up just fine. I absolutely love this desk. Obviously at this price, it is not going to be solid wood. It’s made of particle board in China but it looks so much nicer. Some pieces were a little dinged on the edges, but none of that shows once it’s built. I have it next to a high quality dresser in my bedroom and it fits right in. I love that the top lifts to a standing desk when needed. My husband assembled it on his own and knocked it out pretty quickly. He’s an angel. I would not have enjoyed the process, but he found it very easy. Wayfair shipped it quickly. The only major annoyance is that they used FedEx and my FedEx driver is too lazy to take it out of the truck to deliver it. My Ring camera caught him on two consecutive days coming to my door to take a picture of my empty porch. He didn’t knock or ring and I got notified that delivery was attempted but no one was home. This is a beautiful desk and very unique. It is incredibly sturdy. It provides a ton of work space without taking up a lot of space since you can tuck one part under the other. It requires minimal assembly. I wasn't impressed with the swivel part of this desk. For such a high quality desk, a wooden dowel holds the tops onto the base. I feel like there should have been more thought put into that. It swivels fine but the bottom desk section has scratches on it already from it rubbing together when you swivel it. Im in love with this desk, it is super high quality and worth the money. There was only one main issues which was that it was very difficult to drill in two screws to secure the legs of the desk. We ended up having to use a drill to get them in despite the instructions stating that a drill shouldnt be required. I wasnt worried because the legs were already very secured whether I added the screws or not. I cannot emphasize how sturdy this desk is. In the manual some diagrams were unclear and drawn incorrectly. Specifically for attaching the metal tracks to the drawers. Also none of the screws and hardware were labeled despite them having labels in the manual. So you just had to match the part to the picture. Outside of that the desk and hardware is high quality and I love the product overall, it was just a bit of a puzzle at some points but nothing I couldnt figure out on my own and Im a 25 year old female XD. It’s not necessarily the worst thing but can be annoying. The assembly was long and arduous (I worked alone so 2 people might work better). The colors are stunning the desk is heavy and the materials dont look cheap or fake. I was apprehensive about the fake marble but it looks great. Ran into a couple issues while assembling bc there wasnt enough of certain kinds of screws. Also be mindful of the orientation you want the desk.
