Let me start by saying that I bought this Benedictine sheet set to accompany a quilt set, the Cotton Ring Stitch Comforter Set by Chezmoi Collection that I also purchased from Wayfair. The comforter is also sold under the name Tomeko. At any rate, I think they look good together, and I am pleased with the combination. The sheet set is very well crafted with all seams being sewn professionally. The "mauve" shade that I purchased would be equally at home with red or maroon bedding. It's a thin fabric, and I would not want it any thinner; I would absolutely return it if it were any thinner as it is sold as a premiere quality sheet set. I do want to mention that you must launder this set prior to placing it onto your bed as it has a terribly heavy scent that has to be laundered out before use. The care instructions say to wash on delicate and in cold water and to either air dry or tumble dry on low. I wash pretty much everything on delicate and then dry on low heat or hang, so this care instruction suits me. Overall I am happy with the purchase, however it is still in the washer so I cannot yet attest to how it comes out of that cycle. Maybe I can update this review in the future. A beautiful French country peony toile pattern duvet cover set.

It wasn’t as pretty as it looked in the picture. The colours were more muted. The main colour was a light yellow butter cream. After washing and drying it was quite creased. I considered returning it. However, I went to a local bedding store that I haven’t used in the past and found a duvet that had the same kind of pattern but was more vibrant. Black, California King Comforter + 2 Shams

This product is a classic bedding collection proudly made in Canada. Each piece is cut and sewn upon order, thus ensuring the finest finishing. The French-inspired is timeless and sure to please for years to come. The bedding has flange detail and comes complete with matching shams, all expertly crafted with zipper closures.

I have mixed feelings about this set. I purchased it in beige, which no longer appears to be in stock. I’d scoured the internet for beige toile bedding, upon which my heart was set, and this was the ONLY set I found. Had there been available alternatives, I’d likely have returned this. Here’s why: First, I have an exceptionally large washer, but the comforter came out completely clumped and unusable. I returned it for a second set. Second, this comforter is not perfectly rectangular. It bugs me every morning when I make the bed. With bedding THIS costly, it should darn well be perfect. Lastly, and most importantly, the material from which this set is made is VERY stiff and coarse, the polar opposite of what most people want in bedding. I fold my comforter down to the end of the bed every night, and use an underneath comforter instead. It is gloriously soft, and is available here on Wayfair. I purchased it in wheat, and it looks great with my beige toile set. (Link is below.) Ultimately, even though I have my beefs, it still makes me really happy every time I look at the bed. BTW, I’m including a photo. I just moved in so haven’t had time to paint my room yet, so please forgive the lack of color coordination! It’s very temporary. UPDATE: I'm not sure why Wayfair removed my link to one of their own products, but anyway, the other comforter I mentioned that coordinates beautifully with this toile one is called the Reyna Microfiber 3-Piece Comforter Set.
