Quite the nice table. I got the unfinished so I could stain the color sine I can never tell if the color will be right when ordering online plus I wanted a dark base and a light top. I was happy to see that the top does not have those zig zag joints that are often popular with rubber wood. The grain is nice and the pieces of wood have a good color match. The table is sturdy and well made. Look up the directions from this web site for the assembly of base to top. Overall, this is a very nice table. I could not give it five stars because of the difficulty in putting the 12 screws for the hinges in. Although the instructions do not indicate a drill is needed to start the holes and then a drill is also needed to screw in the screws. Because the wood is not prepared for the screws, doing it by hand is not possible. It is easy to put together other than that. It was easy enough to assemble, my only complaint would be that the drop leaf is a tiny bit higher than the middle, but it’s very negligible and doesn’t affect the use. Table is very solid, nice looking and was easy to put together. There is a slight bit of damage on the top but barely noticeable and not worth the trouble of sending it back. The table was delivered in two boxes, one for the tabletop and the other with the pedestal. The tabletop delivery was fine hardware and assembly instructions were included. The issue was that the pedestal was missing from the second box only the table feet arrived, no hardware, no assembly instructions. After contact with Wayfair, the pedestal was delivered still no hardware nor instructions even though that information was conveyed.
