Feels very cheap. The blades click in. They were supposed to have screws for each blade to reinforce it, but we only got 35. I don’t think it’s the best quality but it does the job I guess. It was easy to add this fan to a location where a porch light was no longer needed. I purchased a 3 way switch and connected inside so that we can change the speed with a wall switch. I did not add any additional wiring, so it does not oscillate. However, it is mounted in a 9x9 ft space, so that is not a problem. It is very comparable in sound and pressure to the same desk top fan that I use in my bedroom. This was simple to install. They try to make it easy to install by yourself but I required help lifting this up the ladder from my husband. I had difficulty placing all the items in screw it all up so you have to find the perfect positioning to make it work. We really like that it comes with a remote. We also had to change out our dimmer to a regular switch because it’s messes with light and makes it flicker but that’s what the remote is for. One thing I’m not so sure about is the LED.
