Lovely, well made bench. I like that the back is slightly curved which is great for lumbar support. I wish the depth of the seat was a little bit greater. From back to front it measures 17.5 inches, which feels a little shallow even for me at 5'4" tall. I also wish the back was leaned back at a slight angle versus being straight up & down. Love this chair. It’s a bit pricey but I wanted to try one to check quality and construction once put together. We were pleasantly impressed by the solid wood teak. It is a really well built chair, very stout & heavy. Just what I wanted to start our slow collection of this same style. It’s a modern scandi-style but feels like you’ve owned it for a long time. The clean & simple lines will blend in nicely with our back patio bird bath & flower garden. We got the lighter cushions as the gray wasn’t available, but they look nice & are firm to keep from turning mushy when you sit. Plus the cushions keep the seating a little higher then many other styles you kind of fall into when you sit. I have issues with getting out of low slung chairs, & no one wants to feel like they are sitting on1/2 cushion to be high enough to get out easily. This is a nice looking bistro set. We wanted a 3-piece set for our sunroom, and were happy to be able to get a teak wood finish, so it would coordinate with our teak sectional. It does so very well. We did not care for the cushions that were included. They were thin and kind of a yellow looking off-white, so we replaced those. It was easy to assemble and is quite sturdy. We like that the table legs have levels on them since it sits on a tile floor. Can't speak to how it stands up to the elements, since ours is in a closed-in area. The table's unique base was one thing that caught our attention when we saw it, but we find that the legs tend to get in the way when seated. Love this chair. It’s a bit pricey but I wanted to try one to check quality and construction once put together. We were pleasantly impressed by the solid wood teak. It is a really well built chair, very stout & heavy. Just what I wanted to start our slow collection of this same style. It’s a modern scandi-style but feels like you’ve owned it for a long time. The clean & simple lines will blend in nicely with our back patio bird bath & flower garden. We got the lighter cushions as the gray wasn’t available, but they look nice & are firm to keep from turning mushy when you sit. Plus the cushions keep the seating a little higher then many other styles you kind of fall into when you sit. I have issues with getting out of low slung chairs, & no one wants to feel like they are sitting on1/2 cushion to be high enough to get out easily. Over all I recommend this to anyone that is willing to slowly build up your patio collection with quality seating. We’re already looking for our next chair to purchase in a few months.. Dawn.
