Thomasville Special Edition Wool Rugs 8x10

This floral area rug features a classic, country-inspired design that brings a refined look to your main bedroom or living room. It's hand-hooked from wool with a dense, looped pile that adds a layer of cushioned comfort and softness to your floors. The low-profile height makes it a smart choice for high-traffic areas since it won't easily trip up guests or get caught under opening doors. A durable cotton backing adds stability and helps maintain the rug's shape over time. Plus, the natural wool fibers offer inherent stain resistance for easy upkeep in busy homes. We recommend pairing this piece with a rug pad to prevent slipping.

Now is your chance to own an authentic work of art. Skilled artisans have been producing fine carpets for centuries completely by hand. As modern technology progresses, however, such fine works of art are becoming rarer every day. Starting with the finest of hand-spun wool, each row of knotting is hand-tied to the warp strings on a loom with meticulous detail. Several steps of washing by hand add a rich patina and even more luster to the already soft wool. Once sheared by hand to a plush pile, each piece is then finished with a hand-whipped edge surging.

Gorgeous, thick high-quality rug. If you love the pattern and colors, don't hesitate. Wayfair has the best price and outstanding customer service.. Linda. Fitchburg, WI. Fri May 01 2026

Beautiful and quality area rug!. Anonymous. US. Thu Jul 02 2026

This sturdy handmade area rug stands up to everyday foot traffic while giving you and your family some cozy padding to sink your feet into. It's hand-knotted from wool and cotton backing with a low 0.25" pile for a just-right balance of sturdiness and softness. It has a traditional Oushak-style pattern (in the size of your choice) for some old-world charm that's sure to fit right in with your coastal farmhouse. Looks aside, this wool-blend rug has fringed edges that are kind on your floors and help hold it in place, but we still recommend putting a rug pad underneath. When it comes to upkeep, it's easy to spot clean (because we know spills happen).

We are really enjoying this rug for our family room. we paired it with the Bottorff Dual Surface 0.33" Non Slip Rug Pad and together they have a lux feel. Soft and thick underfoot. Easy to vacuum and after 6 months still looks new.. Lisa. US. Mon Jun 03 2024

A beautiful rug! Quality is great. Colors a bit lighter than the picture but it blends with my furniture and room decor. It needs time to lay flat. Hopefully that won’t take too long. I did get a 1/4 inch pad and it makes the rug comfortable to walk on. The package was torn on one end but the rug was fine. The rug is 12x15 and quite the challenge to lay it out without the pad moving around. But we prevailed.. Judy. Plano, TX. Sun May 10 2026

This handmade Oriental rug has a scrolling floral pattern and soft texture that bring a focal point to any space (and make sitting on the living room floor for movie night that much better). It's handwoven from 100% wool and is reinforced with cotton and latex backing (but we still recommend adding a rug pad for extra padding and traction). It has a medium 0.39" pile that's ideal for rolling out in playrooms or nurseries that could use some extra padding and warmth. And the best part of all? This wool rug comes in the size and color of your choice, so you can make it your own.

This rug is stunning.I put it in my entryway and it's perfect. I highly recommend it.. Janet. Kansas City. Sat Oct 03 2026

No matter which room you’re decorating, an area rug is a must – from enhancing an existing color scheme to acting as an unexpected focal point, they’re sure to please. This design sports a Persian-inspired motif in black, red, green, and gold for a classically-inspired appearance. Crafted from wool, it features a 0.5'' pile height that encourages you to sink your toes in. (Plus, it remains easy to clean with regular vacuuming.) We recommend pairing this item with a rug pad to keep it steady.

The rug was better than I expected. It’s beautiful. High quality and perfect for the room. Priced so well too!! Thanks Wayfair. Valerie. Camarillo, CA. Sat Sep 12 2026

This Oriental area rug brings a classic, grounded look to your living room or main bedroom with its intricate border and detailed motif. It's handmade from wool, providing a plush surface that feels substantial underfoot. The finely hooked design is accentuated by a looped texture, adding a layer of refined depth while maintaining a clean profile. This piece works well in various indoor spaces where its soft fibers can be fully appreciated. It also features a cotton and canvas backing for added structure and stability. We recommend pairing this piece with a rug pad to prevent slipping.

We love this rug! Gorgeous colors, bright, nice contrast, & a beautiful design too! The blue colors are pretty, more of a "navy" color when the room is darker & mostly a beautiful "teal" color when the room is light. The wool is soft & has a very nice texture! Our living room (sofa, chairs, ect...) is very neutral & this rug really "brought it all together" in a light, lively contrast. We would buy this rug again!. Debra. St. George, UT. Wed Aug 12 2026

The elegant designs and rich colors of these rugs are inspired from 19th century antique Persian rugs. A special herbal wash gives these rugs their luster and an aged patina. This collection is hand tufted in India of 100% hand-spun premium wool.

Love the colors and thickness.. Denise. Crane Hill, AL. Sun Oct 04 2026

100% pure virgin wool pile, hand-hooked to a durable cotton backing. American Country and turn-of-the-century European designs.

Wonderful quality and exactly as pictured. Gina. US. Fri Jul 03 2026

Whether they break up the monotony of wall-to-wall carpeting or bring warmth to hardwood flooring, area rugs are versatile additions to any room of your home. Hand-tufted from wool in India, this design showcases an intricate floral pattern. Though it has a cotton backing, we recommend a rug pad to keep this piece firmly in place. To eliminate pesky curled corners, flip this rug upside down and allow the fibers to relax.

Love the quality! Very well padded. Shed a little on the first several vacuums but the red color has not discolored our white baseboards in the hallway.. Naomi. Terre Haute, IN. Thu Oct 08 2026
