This is my second heated massage power recliner from Wayfair. The fabric on my first one wasn't conducive to owning a kitty, and it suffered many snags. After six years, I had to look for another, though it still operated beautifully. I was drawn to this new chair because of the microsuede fabric (I know from experience this fabric is kitty-friendly). I also wanted power recline, heat and massage, and loved the sleeker look of this new one. It was a little risky, and I gave it a lot of thought, because there were no reviews yet for it. I base a lot of my decisions for online purchases on other customer reviews. Plus, this recliner was on back order. Finally, after not finding anything else that checked all my boxes, I went for it. It looks great, is sturdy, and works fine; my only complaint is that the heat function is very subtle compared to my previous recliner. My back often aches, and the heat and light massage really help, so I'm a bit disappointed that it doesn't feel warmer. However, it really is nice looking, so I can deal with that. It is a firm chair and sits a little high. I'm 5'6" and the chair fits me well in length. I wouldn't say it's the most comfortable chair I've ever sat in, but it's sufficient. It also has a lift function, which I don't need, but is nice to have if it is ever needed. There is a little fabric pucker on the front left of the seat cushion, but that's a minor complaint. I looked at power heated massage recliners in furniture stores, and we're talking $3,000-$4,000, which I wouldn't consider for a chair. I’m so surprised at how much I love these chairs. I didn’t expect them to be so incredibly comfortable! I bought two and they add a beautiful pop of yellow to our family room. This chair is amazingly well built, reasonably easy to put together, but your patient must be able to stand in order to make it work. Ultimately, I could not use it for my elderly mother, who had a stroke on the left side because that side was too weak to use her left leg to stand. I would highly recommend this chair for anyone who has a patient that can stand and support their weight on both legs as even two caretakers cannot make the chair work for a patient who is partially paralyzed.. This lift chair recliner is truly awesome!! It even has two really nice pull-out metal cup holders, one on each armrest. We actually shopped at a very high-end furniture store in town before getting this one, and honestly, this chair from Wayfair beats the lift chair recliners they had BY FAR! We got this for my mother, who has a very small room and is pretty tiny herself. Her last chair was smaller, and after getting this one, I have to say — even though it’s probably a little large for her room — I wouldn’t go back.
