This frame seems extremely sturdy. It took me about two hours to unboxed and put together both chairs. The instructions could be better, and I did use my own tool when attaching the chair to the swivel base. My complaint is that each chair rusted at almost every joint after the first rain and left rusty water stains on my deck. I was bummed, but they were inexpensive, and perhaps you get what you pay for. I do love everything else about them. Sooo, I cleaned and coated them with Boeshield T-9 (like WD-40 on steroids) and hope that the protectant cures the rust problem. It gave them a glossy sheen and they look great. I want them to last!! Excellent! Easy to put together very comfortable through the cushions are more thin than expected and “collapsing” quickly. Ordered in February and already very flat in May with fairly irregular use maybe 2-3 eveningslunch times per week.
