It seems like it’s a victim of shrinkflation. I replaced a 25 year old mattress with as close to the same thing as I could find and it was smaller than the orig. It seems comfy although the sides seem soft when getting out of bed. Not sure what I was expecting but it came in a box. I’m not sure how that does not damage the springs in the mattress. Virginia. It's an alright mattress for the guest room. I wanted this second guest room to have a plush mattress for guests who prefer that to the more firm one I already have. Bought this for the primary bedroom. It is a little higher than I expected with my bed frame, but not so much that I need a ladder or step stool to get in bed. I wanted a mattress that was somewhat firm but had a pillow top. I found this. So far, and it has been a month, I love it. Nothing aches when I get up in the morning.
