Terracotta Tile 85x85

The charm of traditional Solara tiles lies in their varied look, with rich color depth and surface texture thanks to being formed by hand and left to bake in the sun. Our collection harnesses that same treasured aesthetic yet is crafted from resilient extruded porcelain that, unlike the real deal, won’t wear down or require maintenance. Even better, it’s offered in a range of warm colors and easy-to-mix formats, including encaustic-inspired motifs, and with thick grout lines that enhance the artisanal look.

Capture eternal summer with the sun-kissed. This extruded porcelain tile series features unique shapes that carry the soft golden glow of a classic terracotta look or a highly detailed hand-painted feel. This collection is offered in three earthy shades, opting for the natural beauty of terracotta tiles, as well as exquisite decorative pieces, beautifully recreating ancient Moorish floors with a botanical pattern. Alongside the standard square format tiles available in this collection, it includes decorative octagon star tiles, connection pieces, and even stair tread options with a slip-resistant finish, allowing for countless pattern possibilities both indoors and out.

This looks so much more authentic than any of the other Saltillo style tile samples I ordered. It look more orangey-brown in person and not so pink, which I’m actually glad for. I can’t wait to see it installed.. Abigail. Seattle, WA. Sat Jul 25 2026

Hand-painted Talavera tile in a washed terracotta glaze with a glossy finish. All of our Mexican tiles have an off-white background. Ideal as a kitchen backsplash accent, bathroom detail, or framing element. Because each tile is made by hand, slight variations in color and finish are normal and part of its character. DISCLAIMER:All of our Talavera tiles have a heavily hand-made process involved; as such, imperfections are expected. Color variations are to be expected from batch to batch. What you see on your screen might not be exactly what you will get, this is mostly due to several factors, among others: lighting when the picture was taken, lighting in your own monitor, but mostly changes in the glazes used between batches. All these factors are beyond our control. If in doubt, we recommend you to order a sample before committing to a bigger order. This tile has limited outdoors use, we don't recommend its use on temperatures under 40 degrees. It is not frost-proof. It is not suitable for inside pools as the chemicals involved on water cleaning will destroy the clay. Because this item is handmade, slight variations in size may occur. Dimensions typically range from 6" to 6.25".

Patented warp-resistant construction with solid matboard backing.
