Soft version is incredible for smaller folks and cushions the body very well. I could not lie down on my back for very long on my old foam Amazon mattress without having back pain. Bought this for the primary bedroom. It is a little higher than I expected with my bed frame, but not so much that I need a ladder or step stool to get in bed. I wanted a mattress that was somewhat firm but had a pillow top. I found this. So far, and it has been a month, I love it. Nothing aches when I get up in the morning. This mattress is plush yet firm. We tried all the mattresses in the store and this by far was the most comfortable. It is quality and highly recommended for a good nights sleep.
