It worked great. The filters prevented the coffee grounds from going into my cup. It made my cup of coffee in under 5 min. My only complaint is that I read the reviews that said it took forever to make the coffee, so I turned the machine on 15 min before I was ready to drink, only for it to make the coffee quickly and have my coffee sitting getting cold. There are ridges in the water basin so you can brew small to large cups. The traditional multi-cup pot side is pretty standard with a mesh filter basket and pour in feature. When you hit brew on either side, it takes a minute to heat the water before it starts coming out but you can hear it so you know it’s doing something. Can’t live without it. Hot or cold, small or large. It’s an easy 3 step process and I love it!
