I LOVE this dining set! I got it in the natural tone and it is perfect. The chair upholstery is more beige than cream, which works for me. I am doing a cream/ beige monotone home and this fits right in. The seats are a little stiff but still comfortable. It was a challenge to put it all together!! Took me most of a day. Had to have help to lift and place the table top. But was worth it. The directions are not great but I figured it out. All the parts were there and no damage to anything. Feels sturdy. I am using it as an oval with the leaf in. Very roomy for 4 people. Delivered inside my home 3 days after ordering. Just be careful with the last 6 screws for the chairs. We opted to set up the table at normal table height, but it comes with extra risers if you’d prefer to set it up at counter height. This table is really great value, esp. being solid wood and having the option to extend. I thought from other reviews it might feel rough or even splintery, but it definitely doesn’t to me. The finish of the table wasn’t fully what I expected, which is why I removed one star. It’s a little shiny and looks cheaper than I wanted in certain lights. The extension mechanism also works pretty well. It takes some getting used to and isn’t super smooth every time. But it works with some finagling. And of course, the white glove delivery assembly was awesome. I’m really happy with this dining set! The wood is beautiful and was exactly what I wanted to enhance the look in my dining/ living room area! My only wish is that the fabric on the chairs were a bit lighter! The pictures showed it differently in the many of the display pics!
