This is the perfect piece for our new screened porch. We are using it to store furniture covers, throw pillows and miscellaneous outdoor items we don’t want cluttering the porch. The shelves are reasonably sturdy although I wouldn’t place a large, heavy bag of potting soil or heavy ceramic pots on them. The piece has a strong odor when the doors are open. I imagine it’s the finish used. I don’t find it offensive and it dissipates after the doors are left open for a while. I expect this will completely go away with time.
