I read all the reviews and knew the pros and cons ppl were saying. My only disappointment with this lamp is that the finials are very cheap looking… not a heavy brass plated look. I decided to keep the lamps because I love everything else about them. I did read where some ppl felt the gold on the base looked cheap but I didn’t think so, just the finials…but you really can’t tell once the finials are in place. The lamps are a classy timeless look!
