I bought this almost a year ago and had it hanging outside all winter (which, yes, was not smart). A high wind storm ripped it off my siding. It hit a metal coffee table, put a dent the table, and then flew into a snow drift where I found it. IT WAS UNDAMAGED! I just had to replace the hanging hardware. This product is hand-chiseled out of recycled steel oil drums by Haitian artisans using techniques first developed by Georges Liautaud in the late 1950s when he chalked out his first design on a flattened steel oil drum and then cut it out by hand with a mallet and chisel. As each piece is handmade, its final dimensions and finish may vary slightly.
