No damage when shipped. A few pieces were missing their labels so I had to figure out what number peice it was. Wasn't that hard. I put together a lot of things and this took me about 5hrs ALONE. I had zero issues putting it together but I took my time and made sure all the pieces were facing the right way. The directions were easy to follow for the most part but NOT for someone who has little to no experience. So far quality is what I expected. Beautiful desk and easy to assemble. I would give it 5 stars except for two issues: the 4 screws for the keyboard tray require a cross tip screwdriver (which is either not in the instructions or I missed it) - not a problem getting one to use. However, screwing the tray in was quite difficult without first putting blocks under the board to bring it up to the correct level so you could put pressure on the screws when screwing in. Secondly the supports on one side were not flush at the corner (see photos) causing the short side to be in slightly. Nice desk. Went with grey color and like it. Very heavy box and material. Material feels like it is made from that plastic that picnic or school tables are made with. Wood grain look is nicerealistic. I don’t think it will scratch easily. Because there are two configuration options it is quite confusing, mainly the drawer part, but holes lined up just fine. Table was easy enough to put together, but I recommend that when you get to leg assembly, you assemble the drawer opening to its 2 legs first, put the dowels in the under side of the table top and then lay out the pieces.
