It was extremely easy to put together but my only issue is that you need to be very careful when unboxing the pieces from the compartment. Assembly was a little tricky because the leaf did not align with the pre-drilled holes. Moving the hardware fixed this. Some key pieces in the base have slowly come apart after assembling. Even after using a set torque setting, it came apart and makes a tremendous amount of noise.
