It’s been about a 1 months, so far good fabric and the chairs are nice sturdy! Update With a now 8yr old 12yr old almost 6yrs later and I have nothing bad to say about these chairs. I just had to retighten the back legs every so often but that’s mostly due to everyone sliding the chairs out. I ordered 2 chairs for my kitchen. I like that the chairs are made of ash, a hardwood. I expect them to hold up well. The arms and overall style make them very comfortable. One of the chairs will benefit from stain touchups at the joinery point in the back and on the inside of one arm, but these are minor issues. These chairs are stunning. The color is a rich royal blue. The velvet is very soft to the touch. They sit very upright, and although a full chair, they are not large, and fit nicely into a table with slim needs. Our table is large but the legs would intrude if the chairs were wider.
