Overall it’s okay. The material is very nice and soft. Its pretty hard to sit on, not much cushioning, but not horrible. The 2 points of major criticism I have is that, on both sides, metal is pushing into the connecting cloth of seat to foot rest and will obviously rip over time. The worst though is the foot rest is at a down angle, you are not able to rest your lower legs and foot, all weight is on the calves (only point of contact) and that edge of the foot rest is hard.. Fantastic, exactly what I was searching for. These chairs were easy to assemble, the fabric has a nice soft feel. I was worried because a few reviews said they were shiny and they arent. These chairs would probably be 1000 each in a furniture store, we paid less than that with tax for 2. They are heavy ( I wouldnt want to carry them upstairs - they come in 1 box) and feel like quality. My husband is 62 and 275 lbs . He can lean backrecline and the chair is stable. He likes the chairs as much as I do. The chair backs are a good height from the seat. Allowing you to rest your head to take the pressure off your neck. I bought one of these recliners about 3 years ago and loved it so much that I just bought another recently—like last week. I noticed that it was made even better than my first one. The foot lift is smother and pushing the foot rest down is also smother and easier. The seat itself is firmer and fuller and they have changed the design in such a way that you don’t need a “specialist” to come to your home to put it together.
