Great chair that is firm in terms of support, yet soft in terms of cushion. Most options seem to have firm cushions, which I didn’t want in a reading chair because I wanted it to also double as a napping spot. The swivel side table, charging ports, cup holders, adjustable back for relaxing or to convert into a sleeper, and storage in the arm rests and main part of the chair make this a great lounge chair for small spaces. The room is small and this chair is perfect without taking over the whole room—I’m still able to fit 5 book cases, a small rocking chair, and a large side table with this chair in the same space with room to spare. A Belgian Malinois and an adult fit in this perfectly, and we’ve inadvertently taken a nap on it while the human was reading because it’s so comfy. I shopped for a long time at multiple retailers looking for a chair with all the features. This one has a seat wide enough for my dog to sit with me, swivels, and has a cup holder. I was looking for all these features plus a light gray tweed fabric and built in automated controls. As it turned out, this one having a corded remote turned out to be fortunate as the remote did not work and the vendor had to send a replacement. Had it been built in and not worked the whole chair would have had to be boxed up and returned for an exchange. I am not sure I could have done that without help due to the weight. The replacement remote took 14 days by FedEx which was unimaginable but this was not Wayfair's fault. Not sure how well the furry white fabric will hold up, but it is pretty.. Margaret.
