I love my new wall decals! The application, though it took patience, went pretty smoothly. After applying them to the wall, I heated it with a hair dryer and it really grabbed. You can actually see my wall texture through the decal. The heat from the hair dryer makes it look painted on. I am so happy with the results! However, if I decide to ever remove it, the heat definitely made it more difficult. Just saying that if you decide to use heat (optional) make sure you have the placement how you want it, because you will no longer be able to reposition. Perfect! It was a bit difficult to put up - highly recommend just searching “wall decal installation” on YouTube, as suggested in the instructions. Even so, it was a 2 person job. Your decal set includes 3 - 18" circles 6 - 12" circles 6 - 6" circles you will need: - tape measure - level - plastic applicator card (provided) - masking tape or painters tape scissors your decal contains three layers: the top layer is the transfer tape. The middle layer is the decal. The bottom layer is the waxy backing paper. How to apply: 1. Using the plastic applicator, first lay the lettering on a table and smooth it out several times. This will help the decal to adhere to the transfer tape during the application process. 2. Clean your surface to ensure a smooth and dust-free application. 3. Create a reference line vertically, in the middle of the decal with tape. 4. Tape the decal to the surface you are applying. Use the level to straighten the decal. Use the tape measure to center the decal on your wall (optional). 5. From left to right, remove the first half of the decal backing (remove in small sections for larger decals). 6. Use the scissors to cut off the first half of the backing paper. 7. Using the applicator, slowly smooth out the decal, adhering it to the surface. 8. Repeat steps 3 - 7 for the second half of your decal. 9. Beginning in the upper left corner, slowly remove the transfer tape, leaving the decal in place. Do this in a straight, pull-down motion rather than out away from the wall. Keep your force as close to the wall as possible. This will help so that your decals won't be removed with the tape. 10. Step back and enjoy!
