Overall very solid umbrella. Sturdy compared to cheaper versions we’ve had previously and seems to handle windy days well. Comes with HUGE base we filled with water. The lights give a pretty glow without being too bright. When open, it slants up slightly which was annoying at first, but I’m ok with it now. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We didn't have the same brand of base, but our 200lb sand-filled one worked decently well. The umbrella was very simple to put together. The main center bulb was packaged so well that we almost threw it out by accident. I thought it might be difficult to adjust the umbrella, but it's been alright even with my small wrists. It's the perfect size for the area we use for our kiddie pool in the summer! Much larger than I expected. I also didn't expect it to be solar. I was worried I would have to deal with a cord, but nope! Super convenient. The umbrella is pretty good quality honestly. It's really going to help get us outside more. I can't wait!. Jeanmaris. Great umbrella. Just what we’d been looking for to bring shade to a sitting area that faces the northwest…works out perfectly. My husband assembled by himself and he said it was easy…just took a little time. The only thing he didn’t like was the base that came with it. Once you filled it there would be no moving the umbrella around. So he stopped the final assembly had me order a different one on wheels that holds rocks. We used it for the first time and love it!.
