We have full sun in our backyard until it sets. Since we put up the Gazebo it's been a game changer. There are a lot of parts but when done looks great. 3 guys all in their 70's put it together. The hardest part was getting it into the backyard. We had to open the box and carry the pieces back as the box was to heavy. It looks so nice on top of it.. Rose. Fri Apr 24 2026

I'd give this 5 stars, if the instructions had been better, but they were very poorly written. Other than that, I absolutely LOVE this gazebo. It's the perfect place for outdoor entertaining. Love it. Had it for two seasons already. Well constructed. Was packaged very well where every piece was protected against dents, breaks and such. In general, Sunjoy is a good company according to our research and own experience. Had to hire someone to install, and it was pricey to do so, but better than doing it ourselves. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Works great!! I can finally sit outside on my rooftop patio in the rain!  You can do alot with a 12x16. I have two couches and two swivel chairs as well as a coffee table under it Took me one evening of sorting and assembling the beams about 4hrs  Full assembly one 12hr the next day 16hrs in total with two people for the roof.  Two people all day could probably do it in 6-8hrs  Only reason I gave it a 4star review was because the plastic, protective, coating on the roof panels is impossible to take off I took me a half an hour to peel off one whole panel. I said forget this and left the rest.  Idk why its not just grab one corner and rip off.  Its like peeling off cling wrap  I havent had any problems with it being on And my roof gets direct afternoon sun. Have it up for the second season. Good quality but should be made stronger where poles are attached. Had to put gorilla tape over the tares. update - this past summer it tore so much it has to be replaced. Someone should design these with stronger fabric. Update july 2024. Fabric tore at the pole locations and can no longer be used now. They need to reinforce in those areas to be much stronger.. Susan. NH. Sat Aug 17 2024

The outdoor galvanized iron roofed gazebos have strong, durable, non-corrosive roofs that are waterproof, sunshade and UV resistant. The cedar wood frame is rust resistant and assembles effortlessly. Perfect for poolside parties, family barbecues, backyard grills, and patio picnics. Our heavy duty gazebo creates a new place for cool shade and comfortable outdoor space for you and your family. You can set it up in front of a store, pool or house without a roof as an outdoor sun protection.

Photos shared are in progress, not complete. Overall this seems to be a great gazebo that should last a good amount of years and provide shelter from the elements, shade and a great outdoor living space for my family. The package came in 6 large boxes and we decided to tackle installation ourselves. As a working family, it took us 2 full weekends to complete the install. It was NOT easy, however, the kit came with every single correct part, cut to the right size, with plenty of hardware..but man was it tough in a few places! Mostly tedious, but definitely challenging for two healthy adults. Beyond the tediousness of assembly, the worst part about the entire experience was the shrink wrapped plastic coating that was applied to each metal roof panel. Why in the world was this done! We had to peel each individual metal sheet to remove the shrink wrapped layer that the Colorado sun would bake and flake off in less than a season and this added hours of unexpected assembly time and was an infuriating process! Otherwise my only feedback or warning is that the instruction manual has no written instructions, only pictures and symbols to work you through 18 steps with hundreds of parts. That made it challenging in a few places. Otherwise a heads up that you’ll be putting the entire thing together with an Allen wrench but I’d recommend having a drill with a hex bit and a socket wrench. A ladder is a must. Would recommend as a nice back yard gazebo, but with knowledge that it likely won’t last forever. Overall happy with our purchase!. Bria. CO. Mon Oct 12 2026
