Fast Delivery on this top quality umbrella. I like these crank-tilt umbrellas. The last one we had, that was replaced by this one, worked for over 15 years. The only reason we replaced it is that the cord which is used eventually fails and they are impossible to replace without completely disassembling the center pole with no way to put it back together unless you have the press pins and a tool to replace them. So, in 15 years I will have to replace this one again I suppose. The Sunbrella fabric was in great condition on the old one, only because we covered the umbrella with a high-quality umbrella cover.... the cover is the key to the longevity. If you invest this much in an umbrella then you should definitely cover it!. Andrew. Poway, CA. Tue Jul 29 2025

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m so pleased with the high quality construction of my California Umbrella Golden State 9” patio umbrella. It’s absolutely stunning in with the black canopy and stone black pole and I can wait for Spring to set this up on my backyard patio that we have just re-landscaped and extended the landing beyond the covered patio where my new outdoor dining table and new patio umbrella will be placed. I picked black, because it matches the trim and paint of our covered patio and I’m so excited! I tested out this umbrella and it’s easy to open / close and the tilt feature works great, and it will be nice to be able to adjust the position as needed in the direct afternoon sun this area gets. I can do it myself without needing a second person to help me, which is great! Very happy with this beauty and highly recommend!. Msdeucie. Sacramento, California. Sat Jan 14 2023

Between wind, rain, and scorching sunlight, there are plenty of things that can degrade your shade umbrella’s quality and leave you without protection during the hottest months of the year. If you're looking for a market patio umbrella that can withstand the elements, you'll want one with fiberglass ribs and an aluminum pole. The fiberglass ribs are flexible, so they will not snap as easily on windy days. Meanwhile, the aluminum center pole is both lightweight and strong to provide the support to hold aloft the canopy and its eight ribs. When in use, the umbrella’s ribs can be eased open by turning the crank centered on the pole, and the collar tilt mechanism lets you tilt the canopy for angled shade. Plus, the beautiful fabric is composed of Pacifica fibers, a house blend of solution dyed polyester material backed by a 4-year warranty to resist staining, mildew, and fading. With the protective features this umbrella offers, you can relax with the knowledge that this umbrella will steadfastly shade you and your patio during the blistering heat of summer.
