Works well, but there is a learning curve. Very well built, easy to put together. Don’t know about the burnt grease taste that everyone raves about. I use a water pan under my meat to prevent grease from falling into the coals or onto the diffuser. Came out great. I still need to season the grill, so haven’t used it yet, but was pretty easy to put together although some of the directions were a bit confusing but my son is mechanically inclined.
