We have a shoeless house so this small benchshoe organizer is perfect without being in the way. It would hold 8 pairs of my size 7 shoes or 6 of my BFs size 10.5. Only his flip flops will fit on top (my sneakers and low heels fit fine). High heels or don’t fit here and I doubt men’s size 11 or larger would fit. The cushion is loose and optional. We will likely add an adhesive if we don’t swap out. I addd contact paper inside to help with wear and tear. The good stuff: Looks as shown in the picture. Not difficult to assemble. Very solid with high quality paint job. Fits well in the space where I wanted it and with the shelves in place can store about 8 pairs of most (flat) shoes behind the two doors. On the down side: 2 of the hinges were very tight. the pre-patterned places to install one of the doors was slightly off so the one door looks uneven and does not close properly with the magnet. the fabric on the cushion is very chintzy- I will end up recovering it (which is not a big deal)..
